Once he gets past the mental aspect he should be back to his 'normal" self, I figure he needs about 100 total snaps so 2-3 more games.

Spencer played well during his limited time on the field against the Aints.

I'm glad to have him back.

IRVING — Dallas Cowboys defensive end Anthony Spencer made his season debut Sunday night, recording three tackles, a quarterback hit and a quarterback pressure in 22 defensive snaps.

Spencer was so effective in his limited time against the Saints that Pro Football Focus ranked him fifth among 4-3 defensive ends who played at least 25 percent of their team’s snaps in Week 4.

That's great news.

I was really curious about how Spencer felt after his return.

The team now looks very smart in NOT keeping him on PUP, hats off to them.

So far, so good.

Anyone else like the picture (Other than Spence being in street clothes) in the Article? He's on the sidelines, clipboard in hand obviously about to get the attention of someone in a sideline group huddle. i.e. "Involved", not yucking it up. I hope he has a healthy and productive season. He certainly has had a LONG road back...

It's so hilarious that Spencer is our savior now. I remember when some people wanted the guy run out of town because he wasn't racking up 15 sacks a year. How times change.
