Florio is saying Hardy will go to court if his suspension is anything more than 2 games:

Mike Florio said:
(Hardy) isn’t pleased with his current circumstances, but he has not lost the will to keep fighting to change them. Greg has every intention of taking whatever legal steps are necessary. Nothing has changed on our end. Greg has nothing to lose by fighting. [source close to team]

Question: Any idea on when Greg Hardy decision will be made?

Babe Laufenberg: It has been about 40 days, and no idea why it is taken so long. But my take on what will happen. NFL will not reduce the suspension…

Laufenberg 2014, "Tony Romo is finished and never will come close to playing at a level like before and may never even make it through a half season"

Laufenberg 2015, "The NFL will not reduce Greg Hardy's 10 game suspension".

Hopefully Laufenberg 2016, "DFWJC will never be worth $100 million. Never"

In babes defence no one really say this coming. Henderson has always upheld the league's suspensions.

Reminds me of a guy a saw with a sign, pan handling at Venice Beach a couple weeks ago. It said "crappy advice $1".

It wouldn't surprise me that the owners didn't propose increasing league salaries correlating with the added games. There is already resistance to the idea but sweetening the pot might offset some of it to a degree. And I think there have been controversial punishments beyond the ones dealing with "beating the piss out of women" to consider.

DV aside, there still isn't a big enough need for this to be a real bargaining chip.

Most of the guys in the league don't have any need at all for reduced punishments.

Babe needs to stop writing opinion pieces..lol.

With all due respect, Babe was far from the only person who held the opinion that the suspension would be upheld at 10 games. There were many, including a bunch of "experts" on this ite who referred to Harold Henderson as "Goodell's lap dog".

Babe was right about Romo way back when nobody thought twice about the undrafted free agent.

And he's brilliant on broadcasts.

But he needs to stick with the football stuff and leave the doctoring and lawyering to others.
