Really really glad to see a player making a comment like that. All the guys in the locker room need to know they are accountable for their actions. On Orlando Scandrick being peeved at not playing every down against the Rams
Barry Church: I definitely see where he's coming from. He worked hard during his suspension. He felt like he deserved to get out there. But in the same sense, he kind of brought that on himself as far as the suspension. He has nobody to blame but himself for that. When he came back and Mo was starting ahead of him, I completely agree with the coaches on that. It was his fault that he was suspended.
Chuuuuuuuuuuuurrrchhhhhhh
(that double entendre tho)
I think what people fail to understand, is that the fact that Scandrick came back and expected to start is precisely what makes him who he is. The chip he carries around is what's taken him from "That guy that fell to the 5th round", to snatching a job from a former 6th overall pick.
Of course he deserved his punishment and of course he shouldn't have been on the field, but the fact that he had the audacity to show up and demand his job back is exactly why he got his job back.

Uhhh???? Come on Barry, Mo only got beat a couple of times????? I guess he has been too busy studying Saints game film to watch game film from the Rams game.
Or maybe he's been through the team's film review and he knows things we don't about the coverage last Sunday. I think it's great to hear Church making comments like these. And, I bet if you'd played them for Scandrick, he'd nod his head and agree with him.
Actually, it's not exactly a double entendre. A double entendre is a word/phrase with a double meaning, the more subtle meaning being more socially awkward or sexually suggestive. I went to school with a guy whose last name was "Organ," and he played an instrument. Our crazy older teacher was raving about how well he played and talked about how "masterful" Mr. Organ was with his instrument. Students in the class were cracking up, although our teacher didn't know why. That is a double entendre.
I guess you didn't catch the in my post.
This team talks too much. Not just Church obviously-- but we have a culture of over-sharing. It starts with JJ at the top.
