In an interesting piece over at ESPN.com,
Massachusetts native Todd McShay ranks corners, not by value, but particular skill.
McShay gives Virginia Tech's Brandon Flowers the best instincts, UConn's Tyvon Branch the best closing burst, Troy's Leodis McKelvin the premier fluidity, Arizona's Antoine Cason the top ball skills and says Reggie Smith is the best in run support.
What's equally intriguing is that there's been 13.3 corners taken per year over the last three years in the first three rounds of the draft. And also McShay's ranking of teams in the greatest need at the position, which goes like this: Ravens, Saints, Cardinals, Texans, Packers.
Four of those five teams pick ahead of the Cowboys.
