And who said Cason is a JAG?

You should read all of my posts and retain the info rather than just pick & choose to what suits you.

I've said right along that Cason is a borderline 1st round pick.

You're picking him in the second round.

Go pick a fight with one of the folks that has him going at #22 or higher.
Nah I am picking the fight with the guy who called me a yahoo for stating how good Cason is. I showed a few numbers stating how he performed against better competition and all of a sudden I was a yahoo who eats chips and my opinion shouldn't be valued because I don't get paid for it. You know the same numbers you gave me props for later on in the thread.

I don't know who you were arguing with, but he is generally projected to be a better zone corner than man corner in the NFL. He's the guy I have the hardest time I have figuring out. Can't argue the production.

However, ball skills don't really relate to scheme. You could have good ball skills in either scheme.
Yes, some draft magazines project him to be a "zone corner" but that's where the argument came in. Some people think those draft magazines are wrong and some people just read the draft magazines and think they must be right.

You take this forum debating stuff far more seriously than I do. When someone really gets worked up over a post-- maybe it's time to take a little time-out.

Just trying to clear my name. Didn't mean to come off like i was all workup about this, thats not the case but I take this draft stuff seriously. The debating is just about having fun by the way, what the heck is a yahoo anyway?

Albert Breer

In an interesting piece over at ESPN.com, Massachusetts native Todd McShay ranks corners, not by value, but particular skill.

McShay gives Virginia Tech's Brandon Flowers the best instincts, UConn's Tyvon Branch the best closing burst, Troy's Leodis McKelvin the premier fluidity, Arizona's Antoine Cason the top ball skills and says Reggie Smith is the best in run support.

What's equally intriguing is that there's been 13.3 corners taken per year over the last three years in the first three rounds of the draft. And also McShay's ranking of teams in the greatest need at the position, which goes like this: Ravens, Saints, Cardinals, Texans, Packers.

Four of those five teams pick ahead of the Cowboys.

Texans want one of the top 2 LT and the one they really want is the guy the Eagles are rumored be trying to jump into the top 10 for

All I know is Hos. lives in Arizona, breathes air from used footballs instead of normal air like the rest of us, has good info on the kid and I respect his opinion on the kid over just about anybody, since we have a huge need at the position, I'm gonna sink or swim with Hos. on Cason. I do however reserve my right to be wrong. Have a nice day, I have farm implements to tend to and I'm taking my dog to get a tatoo, later. He's a Bull Mastif and a rebel.I refuse however to let him get his ears pierced. My 2 cents is equal to your two cents and together that's four cents and that won't feed my cattle or my dog.

Cool.

"Yahwho" was said tongue in cheek. This is a family-friendly site. But it doesn't mean we can't friendly name call during debates in order to throw the other side off their game. :)

Cason will be on the board with out 2nd rounder if we get lucky. I don't see him going in the 1st.

6', 4.4 speed corners that dominated in college don't last until the late 2nd.

Your grandmother was a smart woman. Reading her quote makes me feel better about myself. What does she say about a person whose friends are all smarter than he is?

So, you're saying you don't eat chips??

Then how are we supposed to take you seriously?? :D

If it makes you feel any better, I don't eat chips as a rule, either... but I'm pretty sure I'm still a yahoo... an incredibly good looking, sexy, intelligent yahoo, but a yahoo nonetheless...

A brutish, coarse or rude person... taken from Jonathon Swift's "Gulliver's Travels"... but over the years, it has kind of morphed, now it's generally considered to be a hick, a hayseed...

so why is it he's probably gonna see 5 or 6 other CB's (at least) go before he does?

Are all 32 teams in the NFL blind or something?

I think at most there will be 4 taken before him, but probably only 3. And all of those, including Cason, will likely be taken before the end of the 1st round, not the late 2nd.
