Did you guess this one? GET RID OF DEON ANDERSON!! Waste of a roster spot. He didn't earn his spot this offseason, and his play last season should have got him cut too.

Miles Austin should be healthy enough for Tampa Bay to play a few snaps. In the meantime, we're healthy enough at the position to be highly effective during the next few games for him to continue recovering from his latest injury. It's almost like some genuinely believed that he would be starting opposite Roy Williams as early as Week 1.

And they were all right on the money.

They should all get their NFL resumes together. They pay a premium on talent evaluation.

Everyone here is an amateur "talent evaluator," be they shills or cynics. And the fans who respond with venom to every ESPN, DMN or FWST column are no less annoying or "predictable."

I'm sorry if my response is "annoying" and "predictable" but I'm not sure how long either of these WR's need to be on the roster and miss games for anyone to realize they are fragile.

It's not a talent issue so it takes no "evaluation" skills what so ever to form an opinion when your talking about the durability of a player if the track record speaks for itself.

Fred Taylor should have been cut before he ever got close to 10,000 yards. He was always hurt.

If either Austin or Hurd were the WR equivalent of Fred Taylor, that would be an awesome point.

For every Fred Taylor, there's a Marc Columbo. Don't be dumb.

You can't blame people for being frustrated w/ Hurd and especially Austin. They seem like delicate flowers to me. Makes you wonder if they really know the difference between playing hurt as opposed to being legitimately injured. My gosh, they don't get enough reps to be hurt this much if you really think about it.................

Stanback is gone, so I guess Austin and Hurd will have bigger targets on them now.

Austin needs as much playing time as possible. I don't care what anyone says. He needs to develop and show that he can be reliable. He's not close to being an elite WR who has the luxury of taking off time for precautionary reasons.

That is exactly it. I knew it from the moment the cuts were made.

First of all, positive fans don't respond with venom to every ESPN, DMN, or FWST article. There are plenty of 'he's usually an idiot, but that was actually a pretty good read' posts.

Secondly, even the most positive fans are on the record with problems or concerns with the team, they're not uniformly positive. Which means, pretty much by definition, they're less predictable than the subset of negative posters who've got nothing good to say about a talented and competitive team.

Just because there are two sides to every coin, it doesn't mean that one side isn't uglier and more annoying than the other. You just can't come to grips with the fact that your side is the heads-side of this particular Susan B Anthony dollar.

Neither Austin nor Hurd were the prospects Taylor was and neither have shows the flashes that Taylor did early in his career when healthy.

I'm actually a large supporter of Hurd, not so much Austin but either way, we need them both this year. I'm not one of those fans that allow a personal agenda to cloud the overall importance of that player to the team so yeah, I hope both players stay healthy, play 16 games and put up great number but the track record of both does not lead me to believe that will happen.

more then anything, I'm sick of waiting to next year. This not only goes for these two but the Dallas Cowboys as a whole.

And yet all the dancing by the fans to "be right" about football matters, Austin is still missing time.

I have yet to get a legitimate answer to my question.

What is Plan B if Austin can't go? Where does the deep threat come from?
