Clearly you didn't watch the game if you feel that Manning had nothing to do with that victory. He threw the ball for what may have been the greatest play in the history of the Super Bowl. But I understand where you're going with this, and to answer the question; it truly would not bother me a bit if Barber decided to say something negative to the Giants.

By the way, has anyone actually heard the interview with Jacobs?

Greatest or luckiest?

There is a difference.

I think Ben and Santonio's play was much better last year..

FYI. Jacobs statements have no merit to it so you can't even say "well he's just telling the truth". No he isn't. Romo is an above average passer in this league whether he's in or out of the pocket. So all you closet Giant fans/little Ghandi girls need to go **** off.

Are you an in the closet Giants homer or something? Sheesh.

in that game, Romo looked like Tom Brady. He picked their defense apart. The offensive line also played well and that was before Cory The Turnstile Proctor was in the lineup.

Hopefully, Romo makes Jacobs' words seem foolish this season.

So his 10 tds vs 2 ints and around a 120 qb rating in the last 3 regular season games against the Giants does not make him seem foolish enough?

Exactly. I was making the point that Romo spent the whole day in the pocket and was amazingly effective. He picked them apart with ease.

In fact, he is more effective when he's allowed to hang out in the pocket than he is when he's rushed out. Can he make plays rolling out and on the move? Yes. Spectacular plays. But he's more efficient when he's in the pocket.

Btw, Procter actually did start the Cleveland game...

Brandon Jacobs, the Giants' bruising running back, ranks among the NFL's best trash talkers.
Who? Never heard of him.

Romo is 4-0 in the regular season as a starting quarterback against the Giants.

Who cares? Because he plays for a rival he doesn't deserve the right to speak his mind?

The right to speak one's mind also gives other people the right to speak their mind about you.

See any of our first three games.

I'm all for Romo buying time if he needs it, because he is one of the more athletic QB's in the league.

But I want him staying in the pocket. He IS better that way, and an offense WILL be more efficient with a QB who stays in the pocket.

I don't recall anyone saying anything to the contrary.

How odd that he would take a shot at a fellow offensive player. Since he's a running back, it's not like he's breaking down film of our offense during "Dallas week."
