Mark my words. We win. Favre always chokes against us. Do you remember in '07 he fell like a house of cards against us. One more time Favre.

Brett Favre vs. Cowboys in home games (home for Favre, that is):
Record: 2-0
QB Rating: 115.4
Completion %: 70.3

I don't think the words "always" and "chokes" mean what you think they mean.

This is what I am talking about.

1993-10-03 Dallas Cowboys Loss 14 36 Away 63,568 Mike Holmgren Brett Favre
1994-01-16 Dallas Cowboys Loss 17 27 Away 64,790 Mike Holmgren Brett Favre
1994-11-24 Dallas Cowboys Loss 31 42 Away 64,597 Mike Holmgren Brett Favre
1995-01-08 Dallas Cowboys Loss 9 35 Away 64,745 Mike Holmgren Brett Favre
1995-10-08 Dallas Cowboys Loss 24 34 Away 64,806 Mike Holmgren Brett Favre
1996-01-14 Dallas Cowboys Loss 27 38 Away 65,135 Mike Holmgren Brett Favre
1996-11-18 Dallas Cowboys Loss 6 21 Away 65,032 Mike Holmgren Brett Favre
1997-11-23 Dallas Cowboys Win 45 17 Home 60,111 Mike Holmgren Brett Favre
1999-11-14 Dallas Cowboys Loss 13 27 Away 64,634 Ray Rhodes Brett Favre
2004-10-24 Dallas Cowboys Win 41 20 Home 70,679 Mike Sherman B.Favre
2007-11-29 Dallas Cowboys Loss 27 37 Away 64,167 Mike McCarthy B.Favre

The guy is 2-9 against us. He has only won against weak Dallas teams. Are you saying the Cowboys in '97 and '04 were as good as the team we have now?

You said nothing about the quality of the Cowboys team (neither did I, for that matter). You said Favre "always chokes" against us. Favre has never choked against us when playing at home. There's no reason to think he'll choke against us on Sunday.

If you're now saying that Favre beats teams that are worse than his and loses to teams that are better than his, I won't argue with that statement.

Home for Favre was Green Bay, LAMBOOOOOO FIELD, probably cold and weather not so good. Not sure when Dallas played them but chances are the NFL got them to play in tough weather elements.

This will be indoors with the weather not being a factor. I like Dallas' chances.

Never mind the fact that the Cowboys had double digit losses both those seasons. 6-10 both times. They were 13-3 and 10-6 those two seasons.

In most of the losses Favre had against us, they had a pretty good team and we had a good team.

he got chokes right, just used some misplaced hyperbole. Dont forget those games were in frigid lambeau and regular season games too

Yeah, because comparing this season to one from the past makes any sense at all. Wow. Your last playoff win (besides last week) was in '96... does that mean anything to you? According to this, it should.

I always wondered how we would've fared in the 1996 NFC Championship at Lambeau had we gotten past Carolina. Even though Green Bay had homefield that year, I wonder if Favre would've been able to exercise those demons, ala Steve Young in 94? Or would the fact that he had to go through Dallas again get in his head? I always felt Green Bay had an easy road not having to go through their nemesis to win the Super Bowl that season.
