Free agency is 12 hours away.
Don't expect the Cowboys to answer the opening bell.
The Cowboys will be opportunistic over the next few weeks. They will add a few new faces to the roster. But don't look for them to set the market or get into a bidding war for a high-priced free agent.
When asked if the Cowboys would be ready to make a move at 11:01 this evening, executive vice president Stephen Jones answered, "Not right off the bat, no.''
The Cowboys will be ready to pounce if there is a player they want. But they are inclined to watch the market unfold rather than force the issue.
