DeMarcus Ware does not have a sack in three games. Going back to last year, he is in a four-game sack-less streak, which is the longest since his rookie season in 2005.
"No, no, I'm not frustrated at all," Ware said. "As long as we as a team are getting it done and we're holding it down. If nobody was getting a sack or nobody was getting some pressure on the quarterback, then that's when I'd be like, 'What the hell do I need to do?' We have to move on to the next game. Being a pressure guy eventually they'll come. We still got 13 games left but we got other core guys like Vincent [Butler] or Jay [Ratliff] and [Anthony] Spencer. If all of those guys are getting sacks and pressure, that's what it's all about."
Getting a sack against Denver will be difficult. The Broncos have given up only three sacks in three games and Kyle Orton will not hold the ball. His average per attempt is 7.5 yards, so he is getting rid of the ball quickly. Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady has the longest current streak without allowing a sack (19 games), according to Stats Inc.
"That's just up to his offense," Ware said. "It's all about how fast they get the ball off. If the quarterback holds the ball, he'll give one up. That's just being honest. But we'll be ready for him."
