I like him but as favourite players go, he's not yet ready to join the Randy White-Issaic Holt-Michael Irvin pantheon.

How exactly did he "lose" the DPOY award? That's like saying Meryl Streep "lost" the Oscar. Doesn't quite fit. He may not have won, but just sounds funny to say he lost it. Nevermind.

The sad thing is, if he gets "only" 16 sacks or so next season, people will consider it a down season.

Lawrence Taylor got at least 16 sacks only one time in his career. Same with Derrick Thomas. If Ware does it again, that will be a tremendous season. Expecting him to get 20 again is a bit much.

But it wouldn't surprise me if he did.

Ware is my favorite Cowboy, but I refuse to buy his jersey.

I got an Emmitt jersey as a gift right before he left the team.

Then I got a RW jersey right before his game went down the tubes.

This year, I ordered a Romo jersey after our win against the Packers. Romo was injured shortly after, and became erratic the rest of the year.

I jinx these guys.

He is my favorite player on this team and he is quickly climbing the ranks on my all time list. He is already top 10 and can climb even more. I love this kid.

Ayuh Ware is a serious bright spot, he's a beast. Great attitude great skill, an anchor for a defense to be built around, and the guy is just plain tough, you feel like he could play ten more years.

Everytime I wear one we lose. I have two that sit in my closet gathering dust.

If the old man is wearing Cowboys gear while I'm watching a game with him, he'll take it off if the team starts losing badly. He'll take off a hat and set it beside him or change his shirt during a time out or commercial. That's also when he might apply the "scrotum hex". This consists of grabbing the pair in one hand and facing the other open-palmed towards the TV, while intoning; "scrotuuuuuuuum hex!" while the other team is in position to score. That one he'll only pull out a couple times a year. Legend says the more a man uses it the less powerful it gets over time.

I decided I had to stop posting in the "Hatred" threads before every game here in the forum. I think every time I posted in one of those this season we lost the game that weekend. Including the Rams and Pittsburgh. Two particularly bad loses for me personally this year.

Nope, it won't happen. A player has to suck for a good chunk of a season after getting paid like Flozell, and a few others on this team. Not going to happen with Ware.

I liek the pre emptive complaining about Cowboys fans before there is even anything to complain about.

Begs an interesting question:

Which is more likely next season: Ware sets the single-season sack record or the Cowboys win a playoff game.

Ware breaking the sack record may be what it takes for Dallas to make the playoffs and win a playoff game. If he is playing at that high a level then it may mean the whole defense is doing well and could possibly lead to post season success.

I honestly couldn't think of a better title to the thread. Since the blog heading was More of Demarcus Ware. The article they posted had a better title (Ware comes in 2nd place), but I just stuck with the one I created.
