WR Terry Glenn returned to practice, as promised, but was in shorts, a shirt and a ballcap, rather than the shorts-and-shells his teammates wore. The only thing we saw Glenn take a part in was passing lines, running a bunch of different routes and testing his right knee in cutting and breaking.
The only problem we saw was a single drop. But the truth is, running through individuals is hardly an indicator of a player's readiness to return from injury. Glenn did have a compression sock covering his right leg.
Also out for this one was CB Terence Newman. Coach Wade Phillips said Monday that Newman was being "checked out." The corner was off in the corner of the fieldhouse riding an exercise bike.

Against Kevin Curtis and Hank Basket It seems like an intriguing matchup especially with a floundering McNabb behind center.

Wade says it's a toe, primarily, in addition to the knee. But more the toe than the knee.

Mac Engel asked about resting him, and Wade said he didn't think that would be necessary, as the swelling was down today. TN will try to practice tomorrow. But Wade said there was a good chance he'd use Newman like before when he was hurt, meaning mostly in sub packages.

Either way, this injury, unlike the foot, should improve pretty quickly.

Wade also added that Terry Glenn looked VERY quick in light drills today and MIGHT (though unlikely) be ready to go for Philly.

Sit both Henry and Newman untill they are healed. We can beat the teams left on our schedule without them. It might not be pretty, but we can do it. Sit colombo as well- give McQ a shot.

I dont care if he's ready for the Eagle (Glenn that is) I think the earlies he should come back is the Panthers game. An extra week of rehab wont hurt the important thing is him coming back for the playoffs

yes and no. We still need to make sure we lock up homefield which is going to take us winning the next too game competively.
