Tim MacMahon E-mail News tips

A franchise quarterback skipped voluntary workouts. The guy was seen out with his celebrity love interest one night in the middle of the OTAs.

I reckon three Super Bowl rings allow Tom Brady to do as he pleases during the off-season. (And the Patriots apparently didn't mind their established vets taking the week off.)

Meanwhile, Tony Romo gets ripped for playing an occasional round of competitive golf. And that's with him working out at Valley Ranch on a regular basis.

You disagree? You think a QB of Tom Brady's caliber should be taking part in OTAs coming off of a major knee injury?

You taking offense to words?

From all your mocking in the Commanders name threads, I would assume that words like those would be right up your alley.

I heard the NFL writer from The Sporting News on the radio tonight. This is much ado about nothing.

The practice is only for Pats newcomers. Lots of vets aren't there...Moss, Seymour, Bruschi, etc., etc.

trump card.

can't believe the apparent manlove for Brady in this thread. Screw em. He should be at OTAs like everybody else.

Regardless of whatever anyone else does, Romo can do no right until his TEAM gets that playoff win. No. Check that. Until he wins a Super Bowl.
If he gets to the Super Bowl and loses, he'll still be considered a loser on some level.
Win a Super Bowl and the likes of Dilfer, Williams, Hostetler, Eli Manning, Brad Johnson, Rypien (sp?) etc. become "winners".
If the line blocks, the receivers catch, the D plays D and the special teams don't suck - we win. Romo is better than every QB in football minus a small handful of them (maybe half a dozen). He did plenty against the Giants to get a win, but it takes a team. The guy is a special QB and his record and stats show that. Back him up and he wins. When he's running for his life, he makes mistakes like ANY QB - even Peyton and Brady.
The guy is a media target and he'll be that way his whole career. I just hope he gets us that big win this year so I don't have to hear the nonsense about him being some sort of choker anymore.
