Personally, I think the best RB Stable is in Carolina. Williams, Stewart and whomever else you trott out there is going to be as good or better then just about anybody in the league.

Not sure what your point here is, but if it is what I think it is, you are wrong. This clearly shows that the Bucs split rushing snaps better than the Cowboys. Barber took nearly 2/3rd of all of our rushing snaps.

COWBOYS
Marion Barber - 238 carries, 885 yards, 7 TD
Felix Jones - 30 carries, 226 yards, 3 TD
Tashard Choice - 92 carries, 472 yards, 2 TD
Total - 360 yards, 1,563 yards, 12 TD

BUCS
Cadillac Williams - 63 carries, 233 yards, 4 TD
Derrick Ward - 182 carries, 1,025 yards, 2 TD
Earnest Graham - 132 carries, 563 yards, 4TD
Total - 377 carries, 1,821 yards, 10 TD

I agree that all 3 of our backs are good, but Barber got hurt last year, Jones got hurt last year and hasn't really proved that he can do it for a whole year. Choice is still a backup...

That all being said. I'd still prefer our backs to theirs, but don't think for a second that they are heads and shoulders above the other teams.

What the hell people. Derrick Ward was a Giant last season. Talking about how Tampa Bay splits carries like this is meaningless as one of their RBs was on different team last year. The entire premise of the DMN troll blog is garbage, there's even a disclaimer in the article telling readers how the author is comparing apples and bananas. The OP makes perfect sense if there are 2 footballs on the field at the same time.

Looks like article intends to stat padding and cause controversy. Oh wow 1821 is greater than 1563! Surely the Bucks are better. If you look at YPA the stable is very similar except for the fact that MB3 played injured last year and ran an average 3.72 yards per carry as opposed to closer to his lifetime average 4.3.

EDIT: Not only that! The post short changed Felix Jones. He actually had 30 carries, 266 (DMN said 226) yards, and 3 TD. +40 yards to make Cowboys total 1603.

DeAngelo Williams - 273 Atts, 1515 Yds, 5.5 YPC, 18 TDs.
Jonathan Stewart - 184 Atts, 836 Yds, 4.5 YPC, 10 TDs.

Combined - 457 Atts, 2351 Yds, 5.14 YPC, 28 TDs.

Seriously, I don't even think this is a discussion.

I think a lot of posters here are underestimating the talent in Tampa's backfield. I wouldn't trade them for ours, but when healthy, their trio can be pretty damn good.

Cadillac has looked OUTSTANDING this preseason. If he continues to run that way into the regular season, he'll be a top 10 back this year IMO...and that's in consideration of the addition of Ward and the presence of Graham.

As a whole, I'd bet good money that their trio will put up numbers near the top 5 in the league.

The rest of the team is pretty messy, but their backfield certainly is not....

I'm not picking on you, but triage is the term used to decide what injured person receives medical attention first.

I hope and pray this isn't required of our three great running backs.

Pittman42's post needs to be sticky'd because this is going to happen all season, or at least all week. LOL

FLcowboys, I was an EMT and know all about triage ;). You simply must go see the carnage in Pittman42's thread, though I think many people in that thread are beyond help ;)
