That plan of Adam Jones' return to the Cowboys? Put it on hold.

Through Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple, owner and general manager Jerry Jones said, "I have no plans to bring Adam back."

According to a report, the owner said he was considering bringing Jones back six months after the team cut the cornerback although the team has not contacted Jones' agent, Worrick Robinson.

Adam Jones continues to live in Prosper and work out with Deion Sanders. Robinson said he has had talks with "several teams" but that they are being patient and hoping something can be worked out by training camp.

For now, it appears the Cowboys will not be calling.

Took less time then I thought it would - if it would happen at all.

DId espn mess up again.?

No.

It was reported by the FWST first.

You can't blame this on the media. Blame the giddy and probably inebriated Owner/GM for making the irresponsible comment in the first place.

Jerry is sly, he wasn't getting a ton of ESPN type press on the opening of the new stadium so he makes a little joke and keeps the team in the news.

:lmao2:

Are there really people still thinking that ESPN messed up in the first place with how much of a train wreck the Cowboys were last season?

Jerry says something stupid and it's the media who are the problem?

:bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

It's like those parents who never want to believe that their kid would throw a rock at a passing car.

Oh look, we're not doomed after all. We can go back to Defcon 2.

C'mon dc, just last week when you were on a bender you proclaimed your love for Terrell Owens and a desire to have his child. So be easy on Jerry.

Nah, same idiot for a GM.

We're still doomed.

Apparently our 'silver lining' is that he just said something stupid while he was drunk.

While this is true, the same could be said for you without the booze....unless you're constantly drinking while posting. ;)
