As he stood inside the locker room after Sunday's loss, owner and general manager Jerry Jones chose to give Denver credit for the win than tearing his team apart for the loss.

"They're 4-0 for a reason," Jones said. "They've played well enough to be 4-0."

And the Cowboys are 2-2, suffering two late-game losses to two unbeaten teams

"I'm not going to sit here and look like we've lost the Super Bowl," Jones said. "That's just not called for here. It's not ending. It's not gone ... I think we all recognize that what you were last year or what you were purported to be in the summer is not usually what you end up being. So these Broncos are better than anybody would've thought and some other teams are less at this junction than some thought."

Jerry Jones is a SALESMAN, a BUSINESSMAN. He has no business being in charge of a football team from a GM standpoint. No person on earth would have traded a 1st, 3rd and 6th rounder for an overrated WR in Roy Williams except a moron like Jerry.

Jerry must be on the sauce again, as I have no idea what he was trying to say...he really is an idiot....I hate watching what he has done to our once proud franchise, but I am enjoying watching as the millions he has doled out to these players gets wasted every year....he deserves to watch this unfocused and undisciplined team flounder to the bottom of the NFL.

Not a big fan of Jerry right now but I get the feeling he was being as blunt about this team in a round about way with out throwing Wade under the bus as he can be.

I have no doubt when he said "some other teams" he meant the Dallas Cowboys

I'm starting to agree with those that think JJ is the root of the problems. JJ needs to come back down to earth and get off that stadium high.

Like I said in another thread, it's highly possible that he'll live for another solid 25-30 years. It's tough to predict right on, but I think he has shown signs of having the ability to age to around 95 quite easily.

Wonder what game this ******* was watching? It's comments like these that assure me that this team will never return to glory until they throw dirt in his hillbilly face.

I weep for this team as long as this man is alive. Lets just hope his son is not an incredible ego maniac, like his father, who puts himself above the team. Any faith I had in JJ was gone after he decided to keep Wade as the HC.
The man goes out and builds a billion dollar, state of the art stadium for a subpar team.

Please don't tell me you expected anything but that kind of response. It's - what - he - does.
