Todd Bowles, Paul Pasqualoni and Kacy Rodgers followed Tony Sparano to Miami. Jerry Jones made sure strength and conditioning coach Joe Juraszek did not.

The Cowboys re-upped Juraszek before he could become a free agent of sorts, which is the second-best news the club's coaching staff has had so far, second only to Jason Garrett remaining as offensive coordinator.

Bill Parcells became a big fan of Juraszek's work during his time with the Cowboys, and the Dolphins wanted him to follow the crew to Miami. Juraszek just finished his 11th season with the Cowboys and is considered one of the best in the league. He has a non-stop work ethic and his program is challenging for the players. The players appreciate him always being there for workouts regardless of the time or day.

he is an old school jerry guy. He was hired from OU in 97, I didnt think he would leave, even though Bill liked him. I am glad someone said no to Bill.

I think the assitant strength and conditioning coach Tony Ollison's contract was up to, I wonder if he will be retained.

If Parcells likes everything and everybody at Dallas so much why did that fat leave in the first place?

That's great news. Joe J. is one of the best.

Like theebs said, glad someone wanted to stay here. Especially a guy we probably couldn't improve upon, unlike Sparano or Bowles.

Great news. The guy does a great job of getting the players where the coach wants them to be.

Coach Joe was my strength coach at Texas Tech for a couple of years.
It was not uncommon for people to puke after or during workouts.

He was the absolutely most intense guy I was ever around.

I figured this was a done deal when the Miami Herald reported the hiring of another guy for the position here with the Dolphins earlier this week. I was worried about Jurasdek due to Bill's comments to Jerry that he was the best strength and conditioning guy he'd ever worked with in the NFL.

Which seems to imply Jerry is just keeping the guys he wants... Which means he didn't think so much of the other caoches...

Big Bill isn't going to like that very much.

Why the F cares? Joe has been around Dallas before Parcells came on board...

That's funny, Parcells wanted to replace Joe with some guy he had worked with in the past. The guy couldn't get out of his contract with the Bucs, so BP stayed with Joe.

Jerry was probably cleaning the shotgun while Joe was reading the contract. I really don't think there's anyway Jerry would let this guy go. We don't hear much about him but he runs things in the background, IMO.
