Tony Romo has thrown a pick in nine straight games, including the playoff loss to the Giants. Romo certainly hopes that streak, which is the longest active one in the NFL, ends Sunday in Arizona. But it's not like he's tossing and turning at night worrying about it.

Romo hemmed and hawed a bit when asked about his "gunslinger" style. He pointed out that not every pick is because he took a risk. Some are simply poor throws. Pressure helped cause others. And so on.

But he acknowledged that his style is such that you just have to take the bad with the good, as long as the ratio is reasonable.

"I'd like to think there's more good than bad," Romo said. "That's why hopefully we're winning more football games. I think if I did more bad things than good things, I wouldn't be playing this position. Or they wouldn't have me playing this position for very long.

"I don't want to sit here and defend it. It is what it is. If I go through four games without throwing a pick, does that mean I'm really a lot better now? But what happens if I don't throw any touchdowns in that period? Does that mean I'm not as good?"
