He won't be that good anyway. I'm glad they'll take him.

We need to draft a LT before we draft any safeties in the first round.

Agreed.

LT is going to be a bigger priority than S in the near future.

Not sure why people are hounding on Hamlin so much. He didn't have a terrible season. Of the 18 safeties to actually play all 16 games, he was the 2nd least targeted safety. Honestly, a safety that isn't targeted much is a welcome sight to me.

Plus, people forget that he finished the year on a really bad ankle.

Hamlin sucked last year, the fact that he's still here sickens me

Yeah, but did you know Romo was going to be great even back when he was 3rd string?

Absolutely no questions asked. I'm the smartest football mind ever.

That is a very good stat...helps me find a small liking to Hamlin in a way.

Then you figure in however that he was playing alongside Roy Williams/Keith Davis/Pat Watkins, and two rookies, and it isnt as good as it seems.

Even before the bad ankle, he was playing poorly.

Considering the contract he signed before last season, he was a massive failure last yr. And it wasnt like he was poor in just one area either, he was lousy vs the run and the pass.

Hopefully he'll play more like he did in 2007 this yr.

I don't hate Hamlin. I just want to see him return to at least his 2007 form, and preferably be able to do even better than he did in 2007. I'm just wanting improvement, nothing more.

I voiced strong opposition to signing Hamlin to a long term deal. He had a glossy interception total, but I didn't see much else in his play that made me think he deserved top dollar. I think Jerry pays players based on going to a probowl and not game tape. We all know half the players on this team that make the probowl don't deserve it, but get in because of our big fan base. I hate that we are getting right back into that paying players that aren't on our roster trend that we saw Jerry get into in the late 90's. When will Jerry learn?

You mean 'playing for a contract' hard?

Same reason I'm expecting Sensabaugh to have a big year.

Everybody was a massive failure last year.

The problem with this whole deal is that Sensabaugh will have like 6 picks this year, hopefully, and then he'll get a big deal!

We are so starving for safties since the departure of Woody that we'll stick anybody back there at this point!!

I don't care...Hamlin needs to show up, and Sens needs to make plays. It's not like it's our money anyway! Just come together secondary for once! That's all I ask.
