His position on the field is what allowed him to make that play. Not flat-out speed, which the article is trying to imply. I just think the whole premise behind the article is fluffy and grasping.
That's all.

tomson75;2771059 said:I disagree...it was regulation length, but it's in the shape of a rhomboid. Clearly making it easier for Hamlin to catch Bay. No way he could ever catch him in a rectangle though....not that he's not good or anything. I think he's great, but that was clearly a rhomboid.

I would say it was David Buehler.
In all seriousness, I like the Brandon Williams and Mike Mickens selections the most. Hamlin has great value in the 5th round. I felt he was a 3rd rounder at the worst.

Him and Sensy just made our safety position from whack to STACKED!
until I start seeing somebody other than Newman making plays back there we're not stacked at corner or safety.SLATEmosphere;2771084 said:Michael Hamlin>>>RW+Killa combined.

JerryAdvocate;2771028 said:you kind of overlook the part that Hamlin plays faster than he runs on a track though, which is where the whole part of "carrying his pads well" and taking angles comes into play
QuanTran;2770927 said:Yes sir... Saw Teague a couple of times in person and actually gave him props on that play he made in college.
How many times in the last few years have we seen Ken Hamlin, Roy Williams or Keith Davis take wrong angles.Hailmary;2771049 said:We should all be encourage that he took a good angle on the play. It's these little fundamental things that's lacking in a lot of players throughout the league.
