Pace of play

The Patriots run their offense the way Rory Sabbatini plays golf: fast.

Rarely do they huddle, making it hard for defenses to substitute. Tom Brady spends most of his time working out of the shotgun. He will call the play at the line of scrimmage. They use a variety of formations.

It's like the way Peyton Manning runs his offense, so I can see the Cowboys having their entire defense wear wristbands, like they did vs. Indianapolis last season.

UPDATE: To answer the why wristbands comment? They would have the defensive calls on them and they could all look to the sideline for the call instead of waiting to get it from Bradie James.

I wonder if the Cowboys would open up in their nickel defense as opposed to their base 3-4. I think the Pat's passing game is far more dangerous than their running game.

Its like asking do you want to be shot in the head with a quick blow or cut repeatedly so you can bleed slowly to death.

I dont see a weakness in their offense in any aspect.

That's true.

They have a very scary team.

Cleveland played a 4-3 front most of the game....I thought they were a 3-4 team. Thought that was interesting expect that they still couldnt even come close to the QB.

Also, you had to notice all the reverses the Pats ran today...something for Wade to chew on all week.

This was supposed to be a problem in Super Bowl 27 and Super Bowl 28 as well.

We all know how that turned out. :D

On the other side of the ball, I think we should go to the no huddle at times too. I seem to recall Cinci having some success with it.

I got a feeling the Cowboys will play INSPIRED ball vs the Pats. Look for Romo to come out blazing and making a huge statement early in that game. If we win the toss we will receive. And score with uncanny speed.

The rest of the game will be a dog fight. But I really think we will punch the Pats right in the mouth to start the game.

Realizing the Cowboys still have a game to play tonight - I'd have to say they are prolly gonna hit their first bump in the road next weekend.

Those Patriots look very good and have a wealth of maturity and big-game experience on their side. Home game or not - Dallas will be running into a buzzsaw.

I think the TRUE TEST will be to see how the Cowboys respond to a loss.

Cheaters or not, I actually LIKE the Pats-just a class organization from top to bottom. Them winning 3 SBs in 4 years is really remarkable-and no, I don't believe for not minute Belicheck went at all lengths to cheat.(if anything, he didn't do anything fancy to beat the Rams-all he did was play alot of nickel and jammed those woos receivers).
