Practice update

Safety Keith Davis (shoulder) and linebacker Bobby Carpenter (knee) are not practicing. Fullback Oliver Hoyte went through warmups in a helmet but he does not have pads on.

Coach Wade Phillips said Monday he didn't expect Davis to work on Wednesday, but Carpenter was a bit of a surprise. If he and Davis can't play or are limited, then that would affect the special teams.

Also, practice squad defensive end Marcus Smith returned to practice for the first time since suffering a knee injury before the final cuts.

Does this mean Ellis is still doing "individual drills" and Newman is working with the scout team?

Who's Bobby Carpenter? Never heard of him. :D

Well he has been practically invisible.

I haven't even thought about the play of him or Marcus Spears. I hope that changes for the better.

Oh man who will pick up his sacks we are so screwed, oh wait he didn't have any. all those "BP set up the foundation of this team" shouldn't forget this BUST. I guess it will be up to Spears to keep up there.00000000001 sacks per game average between them..

Yeh I guess its Bobby's fault that he was picked high and into a scheme he really isnt suited for... I think hes a good LB and if he doesnt show it here he will on another team.
