'The King's Back'

That was the lyric from the Jay-Z song that blared out of the boom box in T.O.'s locker as the media access period ended. Figured it was fitting for his return to Valley Ranch.

No. 81, who was the only player wearing white shorts, put on a popcorn-worthy show during practice.

Not sure how much of the playbook he knows, but T.O. has the fly route down pat. He caught two deep balls from Tony Romo for touchdowns, beating Anthony Henry and Jacques Reeves. T.O. had a couple steps on Henry and made a nice adjustment on a ball thrown slightly behind him.

He did have one drop, but let's give some credit to future UFL star CB Joey Thomas. T.O. got both hands on the ball after running a crossing route, but Thomas got a hand in there before T.O. could tuck it in.

T.O. chatted up a couple of his favorite reporters -- a group that doesn't include me yet -- but he didn't talk on the record. That gives us something to look forward to this weekend.

So.... thats a drop or the defender pulled the ball away????.... I am gonna LMAO watching them ring up his drops this year. "Oh look... TO got his finger on the ball... AND DROPPED IT... drop #22...." sheesh!

OK, is this part of Tony's bad day, incomplete passes, or
is this TO's bad day with a dropped pass, or
is this the defenders good day with a good knock down?
OR did the reporter have to long a lunch hour???
Let us see it on TV and make up our own minds. I feel sometimes I am reading the National Enquirer, they don't know when to stop reporting fabircations and get on the game.

That's the way it always is at these OTAs. A pessimist can say, oh, the season is ruined, the offense couldn't complete a pass on the defense... An optimist can say, oh, the defense is so suffocating that it dominated the offense. It's depending on the spin you want to put on it.

Wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago at the mini camp someone said he knew the entire playbook? I forget who said that.

UFL = United Football League

A league attempting to start up in August of 2008. So scrubs who can't make it in NFL may become UFL star.

This is true if it is any other WR in the NFL, but if your initials are T.O. , ... then it is a drop. ;)

If he's the almighty wr some people seem to think he is he should catch every pass he gets his hands on. That is his job.

Interesting how he's excelling in the area most of you hope will be Terry's avenue of distruction. Where's that leave Terry if TO's killing on the deep ball and is also our short ball guy, too, along with Witten? Hmm..

IMO, TO is here to show in these OTA's there's not room on this team for 2 #1's, and that he is the hands down #1 and people should not mistake it (as if anybody outside of this fanbase had though). In fact I bet before this season is half over TO will have basically run TG out of town through the shear force of the reality of the situation, the reality of his playing skills over that of that #2's skills.

Strictly from an opponent's perspective ...it's also called an incomplete pass.
