The ILB crystal ball says...

The Ravens will re-sign Ray Lewis.

The Cowboys will allow Kevin Burnett to leave via Free Agency and he ends up in San Francisco.

Zach Thomas doesn't return.

Karlos Dansby and Bart Scott are not pursued in Free Agency

Bobby Carpenter starts for the Cowboys and has a very good year. He even assumes a leadership role.

Cowboys fans everywhere post about how they knew all along he just needed a chance.

:laugh2: Watch Bobby just tear things up and become a Pro-bowler..ahhh..thatta be the day!

I'd rather draft someone.
+1

I would rather the team take the opportunity of making a stronger, long-term investment at the position via the trade than through free agency.

Yep, Suggs and Scott are gonna get paiddd.

I'd rather have Landry over all of them though.

I think Landry is easily the 9th best starter on the ravens defense, so I'm definately skeptical. I think it's in his best intrest to stay in Baltimore, he may be a good player, but the only starters he's better than on that team are Jarrett Johnson and Justin Bannan.

Crystal ball or crystal meth?

Not a snowballs chance that Carp has any sort of year that makes him worth his pick. Carp's worthless. If he had a year worthy of his pick, I'd buy his jersey just so it could sit there and haunt me for writing him off. Cause I have. He's a bum and always will be until proven different.

I thought you were serious until I got to the bolded part.

Then I realized that you were just doing a "War of the Worlds" type broadcast.

But seriously, just how many LBs does SF need???? The sign at least ONE high salaried LB every offseason.

No...

Kevin Burnett is younger, faster, and cheaper. Plus, he knows the system and played better than solid. You drafted him. He's homegrown.

But, hey. Let's go waste some more money, keep Owens and go 6-10 or 8-8 at best.

No matter what the thread, We can count on you lobbing and off-topic TO dig in there. We get it. Put it on a billboard and save a keyboard, that "T" and "O" must be completely erased now.

Are you serious? Larry Foote is legit and FAR better than Burnett and Carpenter. He's been to the pro-bowl multiple times..I didnt know he was a FA? I thought it was Farrior.

You got Larry Foote confused with someone else. Not sure who, but Foote's been to zero pro-bowls and is being pushed out by Lawrence Timmons.

Foote still has a year left on his contract, that's why I was asking about maybe giving up a 4th round pick for him.

I think Bart Scott is going to get a nice payday, and I don't think it will be in Dallas.

Really, I think Ray Lewis is the one LB that Jerry would pay big for, and that would be as much for his leadership as anything else. I'm not a big fan of that idea either though.

I actually think that Carpenter can do a decent job for this team, so I would like to see him get a shot.

You are being sarcastic right?.........right?.........right?

IMO guys like ware, ratliff, hamlin, newman, james need to be so-called these vocal leaders. seems like neither of them want the job. which is really disappointing.

I wouldn't be opposed to trying Carp out, as long as we get a NT up front, I'm a happy man. But at least draft an ILB to put pressure on that position, if he doesn't step up, he can just step out.
