So where was Marion Barber?

Marion Barber didn't play Monday night. The thing was, he wasn't at the game, either.

Wade Phillips doesn't have a problem with that. He said Barber was excused from being with his teammates at Cowboys Stadium.

"He still had a little swelling,'' Phillips said. "He was getting treatment elsewhere, and we didn't want him standing up for four hours with a quad injury. I don't think that would have helped him.''

Phillips said he makes the calls on whether or not he wants an injured player present for the game on a case by case basis. So here's the question

I remember reading or maybe it was hearing somewhere that he was quite disappointed/pissed off that he couldn't play in the game

But yea not having him stand around for four hours on a quad injury makes a good bit of sense as well

I hope he's back for Denver. The Cowboys must have him, imo, to win the game.

Why? We just beat a team without him who is probably at least as good as Denver. Actually probably better...Denver hasn't beaten anybody decent, and got lucky as HECK to beat Cinci.

Having said that I would still like to have him back, but not at the expense of injuring him further.

wade said in his press conf that wasnt the case, that barber is fine with situation and that the cowboys wanted barber to stay off of his feet, if he had been at the game he would have been standing on his feet over 3 to 4 hours

Both clubs will be searching for a quality win this Sunday.

You'd think for $1,200,000,000.00 Jerry could have put a freaking bench on the sidelines.

Tampa I'lll give you but Carolina is just not playing well and is better than both the Raiders and Browns. Carolina will eventually start winning some games. The same can't be said for the Browns and Raiders.
