Starter? Sub? Felix Jones doesn't care

After trying to talk Felix Jones into buying a pet leopard, Ben and Skin of 105.3 The Fan fame talked a little football with the Cowboys' premier home run threat.
Jones lit up when asked about the Cowboys' three-headed tailback monster. Jerry Jones acknowledged recently that the Cowboys are considering starting Felix, in part to keep Marion Barber fresh for fourth quarters. Any role is just fine with Felix.
"It's a team thing," he said. "Once you go in there and you contribute to the team, that's good enough for me. I don't have to be the starter. I don't have to be the guy in the spotlight. I just want to go out there and have fun and help my team win ballgames."
This comes as no surprise. Jones never rocked the boat at Arkansas when he was coming off the bench behind Darren McFadden. And he didn't utter a peep of complaint after he inexplicably didn't get a catch or carry in the loss to the Commanders.
Of course, there's no need for Jones to complain about his role. If he isn't getting the ball enough, there will be plenty of people willing to let Jason Garrett know.
