Funny I was down town Ft Worth today and I saw this cut out statue I thought was Tom Landry because of the Fedora hat. Quick Google search pulled up this pic.

Cutout looks like a forest ranger with a briefcase.

I appreciate that. The art of storytelling is lost. I blame TV and reruns of The Hogan Family.

There is this other story that I knew. When Pietro Rozelli embarked from the Edward Morain, a Swedish freighter, he eyed the American landscape as a fertile field for what was to be NFL football. His vision was for a climactic championship game, a Super Game, to be played each January or February in a warm climate while Cleveland shivered. He hated Cleveland, where his uncle Pete "Two Heads" Rozelli had run the rail yard unions . . . I will finish this story later on after I eat a sandwich.

Because I mean 20 straight winning seasons is nothing.

Establishing the FCA is surely the work of a lesser man.

Bringing back the shotgun, establishing the 4-3 flex defense, all the work of a man who should kiss Jimmy Johnson's jock.

Im 19 years old, but theres not a greater man who has been involved with football in my opinion. Anytime I have free reigns on choosing who to write a paper on or give a speech over, you bet its on Tom Landry.

I have read every biography, and his auto-biography and there is not a man I would rather emulate my lifestyle after than him.
