1. Aside from your "I can't believe you don't love Romo as much as me" attitude, I agree with most everything you said.
2. I clearly remember the season in which we fell short in the playoffs. I prefer playoff wins and progression over chance.

so him almost losing his dad shouldn't play into his "Ho hum" attitude? So when he says "if losing a football game is the worst thing that happens to me I lived a good life," months after his dad had cancer, you think that has anything to do with his play on the field? was he on the field when he said that or in a presser, pretty sure he wasn't playing when he said that.

you blaming arguably our best player for the deficiencies of the guys around him is the only silly thing going on in this thread.

No rational person watches the games and says tony isn't a good player or a winner.

His play in December last year was ho hum. Those last two games were painful to watch. No?

I want to see a juggernaut led by a field general that gets stronger as the season goes on. Once again.. not too much to ask.

McGee may have the potential but we need to win and win now. Having to wait another 3 or 4 years to bring another QB along would suck. For the record, I did think it was a good draft pick but I am more excited about the intangibles Kitna brings to the backup QB position. He knows RW11 (can help Romo figure him out), has a great attitude for someone that once was a starter but is now relegated to backup duty, and has a nice arm. No more noodle armed Brad Johnson... That, in and of itself, is reason to rejoice.

Negative. I hold Tony most responsible due to the fact that he's the starting QB that makes 67 mil (AKA Field General) and not the 53rd guy that makes $300,000.

The mediots can't play golf or football so what the hell do they know. Romo is not the only athlete who has talked about the benefit they get out of golf. It is very much a mental game for those who just ride in the cart drinking beer no it is just a way to have fun for those who take the game more seriously and strive at being good at it, it takes a lot.

And I have no doubt that is Romo goal as well. The numbers only show that as an individual he has the talent for this group of players to make it to the show and win it they will all have to do it together or it will not happen. There have been some great QB in the NFL who do not have a ring and there are some avg QB's who do have rings. As important as the QB poistion is history shows it is not just about the QB when it comes to winning championships
