I love you Bleu, but the old bear got you

I've been "gotten" before and I will be "gotten" again. It's all good in my book. There's no reason to be bothered because I don't stroke Tony the way most of you do. He still has plenty to prove to me. I also understand that I am nothing more than a fan. No different than any of you.

I've had a lot worse things happen to me than a trivial attempt at jousting from silverbear, that's for sure. If this is the worst thing that ever happens to me, then I'll have lived a pretty good life.

:laugh1: You call out someone for stroking Tony while many times getting called out for stroking TO.

Gotta love the irony.

Oh, I think he's gone well past the stroking phase...

I also think his irrational Romo hatred is rooted firmly in his groupie-esque adoration of Eldorado...

Actually, my shot was a pretty fair riff on your ever-so-juvenile attempts to insult your antagonists in here... it's always more fun when some fool sets his own self up for the punch line, and you did exactly that...

And now, people are laughing at you for more than just your idiotic attacks on Romo...

If this is the worst thing that ever happens to me, then I'll have lived a pretty good life.

We all know that the worst that's ever happened to you was when the object of your unnatural lust was fired by Jerry Jones...

That was the day you went nucking futs... :D

Oh.. If you know me at all then you'll know there's plenty of blame from here to blanket every figurehead on the coaching staff. This isn't about the coaches though. We're discussing the QB that should lead us back to the big dance...

Actually, the thread's about how golf helps Tony Romo be a better player.

If it's going to become a critical discussion about how to get that next Super Bowl ring, it makes sense to stick to the things that actually need to improve rather than criticizing Romo.

I got it

but I don't hold any adoration for Tony Romo (well, at least I don't think he's the best QB ever), I do however, recognize real, Romo is a top 5 QB, IMO, who definitely has his faults, but there have been QBs with faults who've led their teams to the promised land

I also recognize that a QB needs help in order to do that, he can't have receivers dropping passes in critical situations, a coordinator who doesn't make running the ball a priority, an Oline slow to pick up the blitz, a safety who forgets how to tackle properly, etc. etc.

I cannot disagree with a thing you said. Yet still, some have a problem with me being critical. Funny. Constructive criticism is a very good thing. While some might not consider it constructive, I have nothing but high hopes because I want to see #6. Getting there won't consist of me sitting idle by without pointing out things that piss me off. Don't like it? Grab a cookie.

So when you get home after a tough day at Burger King do you spend all evening practicing your burger flipping method?

You guys kill me with this Romo needs to only focus on football attitude. Nobody only focuses on one aspect of their lives. He puts in a ton of time honing his craft and to ask for him to give up his personal life or his hobbies is ridiculous in the extreme.

For someone who has supposedly "gone Hollywood" you don't see him in the limelight all that often. Good grief let the kid live his life. Football is obviously a priority for him, there is nothing wrong with him having a personal life as well.

Stop being so reasonable. It just doesn't sell like doom and gloom or milk and honey. :)

We're starting to agree more. Should I worry about that?

And therein lies my real problem with Bleu in this thread-- he went off on yet another Romo rant, in a thread where it wasn't really on-topic...

Of course some criticism of Romo is entirely legitimate, he has fallen short of the goal a coupla times now (which I consider rather normal growing pains)... but Bleu takes it over the top, time and time again...

You could say good morning to Bleu, and I get the uncomfortable suspicion that his reply would involve Romo...

It wasn't like you made an obscure reference, Bleu... the lack of response is because a lot of us are gettin' tired of you... you're turning into a regular One Trick Pony...

Because you have turned it into some kind of asinine jihad, and because you turn insulting the instant anybody disagrees with you...

There ya go... there is nothing "constructive" about turning this thread into another Romo rant...

I have nothing but high hopes

Sorry, I just don't believe you... your recent posting history screams that you have a strong anti-Romo agenda... and as I've alluded to already, I firmly believe it's because you blame him for TO's departure... you're pissed about that, and looking for a scapegoat...

And when your endless snarling pisses me off, I'll point that out... don't like it?? Grab a cookie...

You probably should, just to be on the safe side.

I know I do.
