I don't see the point of getting rid of Stewart. Why would anyone else come in here if they're not going to call the plays. And there's no one out there that could come in and call plays better than Wade.

Exactly. Unless there is some kind of serious internal problem with Stewart, like if the players hate him, why change much about the defense? For the most part, it got much better late in the year.

It mainly means much more work for the head coach when he basically has to do a coordinator's job. But if he's willing to do that, I don't see why you change.

The players know how things are supposed to work. They know what Stewart is supposed to do. If they see him as a do-nothing moron that only has a job because he's Wade's buddy and he doesn't want to fire him, do you think it could have an effect on them?

Agreed. Choice & Felix YPC are misleading. Our o-line play was NOT strong enough to be a grind it out team consistently. Can that change going forward? With the right players and coaching, certainly.

Would I like to see us develop a greater strength running the ball? Absolutely. I just don't think we're there yet. Currently, its a complementary aspect of our O.

If Wade isn't HEAVILY involved with this defense then why in the world would we have him here? For his HCing prowess?

Stewart is not high on my list of things that need to change. Kept in his role, he's harmless.
