So Romo will lead us to the Super Bowl, but if we fail its everybody under the suns fault but his according to most fans. I thought when you get the praise for success you get the blame for failure.

Most fans? I doubt that is the case. There's fans on both sides of the fence.

Wade and Jerry never say anything but positives, so you're right on the money there.

But I think this team will bounce back. This offensive line is performing outstanding, and if that continues, I really like where this team is headed.

We played a terrible game, yet only lost by two. Two.

This is the NFL, you don't get anything for losing a game by two except an L. It's a loss to a divisional team at home. It's a loss to a team the Cowboys will be battling with for a playoff spot the whole season. As the season wears on, no one is going to keep looking back and saying the Cowboys only lost by two......two to the Giants. They will looking back and saying we lost to the Giants.

Moral victories have no place in the NFL.

What an astute observation lol.

I'm over that. I dont care that we lost anymore. The Giants are one of the better teams in the NFC with the development of Manningham and Smith, and we should have beat them.

The point is, we all said this offseason that this teams success hinges on the ability to protect Romo, and the health of Romo.

I really like what we've done protection wise, and if that keeps up, we're gonna be in a pretty good position regardless of what happened last game.

Very good points, I feel the same way, if can protect the QB you will always have a chance to win.

"It's a feel," Phillips said. "That's what you do coaching-wise. "

That is just funny.
I cant wait for this guy to be out of here.

Wade has a "feel"???
Wade does that "coaching-wise"

This stuff belongs in the "comedy zone"

I'm glad this board wasn't around in the late 80s, early 90s. The population in DFW would've dropped by half because of all the suicides. I can't believe how many of you want to send Romo out of town on a shutter because of his play. Imagine if this board was available when Aikman started.

Just for comparison sake, here are a few numbers:

In 41 games with Romo, the team is 27-14. The team was 17-24 in Aikman's first 41.

Aikman threw for 7,799 yards, 37 TDs and 48 INTs. Granted, he was on a bad team with very little supporting cast.

Romo's numbers: 11,042 yards, 85 TDs and 49 INTs.

I know this won't change a lot of minds because once people have it in their mind that Romo is the problem, they won't listen to reason. Who do you want to bring in that we could realistically get and expect them to do a better job?

I know, right. I would hate for that cat to get out of the bag. Imagine if people started to realize that Romo is a top 10 QB in this league.

It's not going to stop until we win and Romo has a good game. Then the mob will cheer until the next loss. Then someone's head must roll. It's a rule.

I'm sorry. Wade must be a totally different person to his players, but he reminds me of the village idiot on the sidelines. And the drivel out of his mouth at these press conferences.."Newman is challenged"..Better believe he's challenged.
