Wade wasn't quite as giddy as you might have thought he'd be, considering the alternative. He stopped short of calling this a season-defining win, but did have this to say:

"Our theme was we needed to make one more play and we did."
He also acknowledged Marion wasn't 100 percent.and added with Barber healthy and Felix healthy and Choice "it bodes well for us."

Okay, maybe I can actually discuss my thread in this game-related thread.

Why on earth was Barber in the game if he's not at 100%? Who made that decision?

Probably for blitz pickup

So why the heck was he in the game down the stretch and in OT? Especially with Choice shredding them every time he touched the ball?

I don't get the use of personnel on this team at all. Every week they leave me scratching my head about something.

my thinking was for blitz pick-up reasons

still doesn't make a lot of sense though

That's what I think too. Once I saw Choice was in the game I knew we were going to run more.

Wade's thoughts: mmmmm, marshmallows.

That's also the game plan coming out of the bye week. It's about much thought as will go into it.

Tashard is a fantastic blocker. That doesn't make any sense. And they called a run the first play.

Choice is an OK blocker but nothing like Barber. When you have Flo struggling in obvious passing situations, u need to give Romo some protection on the back side.

It's not ideal but it's playing smart actually. I just wish Choice and Jones are better blockers. Barber is not close to 100%. He just doesn't have that burst, not that he ever had or else he would have scored in a previous drive...but instead we had to kick a FG.

WR dropping a few sure TD didn't help either.

I remember reading Romo's comments that Choice is excellent at blitz recognition and pick up. Choice was getting big chunks of yardage every time he touched the ball and yet, the first possession of overtime, Barber was on the field...
We were fortunate that the mediocre chiefs couldnt get 20-30 yards when they had the ball at about the 50 and our offense got one more shot.

Barber had 4 2nd half carries and a pass thrown to him. He had an additional carry in overtime.

Choice had 4 2nd half carries and 2 in OT.

He wasn't just there for blitz pick up, they ran him off tackle in the first overtime series. And it makes no sense.

Wade's thoughts: "can someone please point me in the direction of the buttermilk to put on my burger?"

He is an excellent DC. He is a lousy HC. I wished he would take a demotion but he wouldn't and so we will lose a very good DC and HC when on Monday morning he is fired. (I hope). Let Campo be the DC. He can be a very good DC as well.

Wade: Well, I think in the first half, we played to the level of the Chiefs stadium. In the second half, we made some adjustments and righted the ship. And I think in overtime, especially, we played to the level of our new stadium. That was key in winning today.

You mean you didn't enjoy his defense lining up offsides time and again, or not getting a turnover, or predictably buckling before the end of regulation? Hater.
