There's footage of the 60-yard big screens' test runs on YouTube, but the local media will gets its first live look tomorrow afternoon.
From the Cowboys' press release:
Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones will switch on the world's largest 1080p HDTV video board for the first time at Cowboys Stadium.
Weighing 600 tons, the screens will be suspended 90 feet directly over the center of the playing surface and stretch from nearly one 20-yard line to the other. The four-sided, center-hung structure, a first for an NFL stadium, consists of four Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision™ video displays.
The innovative technology will give every fan a great seat and the view is better than watching a 60 inch HDTV in your living room. Fans will be able to see the players as if they were standing on the sidelines creating a living, interactive aspect to the building.
Jerry's usually more than willing to spend a few minutes discussing football matters at these kind of functions. I strongly recommend refreshing this here blog repeatedly tomorrow afternoon.
