Witten ..... and anybody who doubts it needs to remember the Eagles game.

Witten doesn't need a helmet and probably doesn't need pads. He is tough.

Witten by a long shot. My current favorite player on the team. plays with broken jaw, no helmet and no fear.

Owens is tough. Dude gets hurt with injuries that sideline most for weeks .... and he comes back weeks ahead of schedule.

Went down the first time.
So, he should have gone down, tackled for a loss instead of turning that into a 2 yard gain?

That's interesting logic.

Tiger Wodds is tougher than barber, Anderson Silva, and the best fighter in the world Fedor Emelianenko:laugh2: oh and Bob Sanders is so tough yet he he can't even play a full season without getting hurt

I'm assuming with Tiger, they are looking at mental toughness of a fierce competitor, which probably puts him properly near the top.

Where the F is Lance Armstrong on that list?

Good call. I think if you are making a list of the toughest of the tough, Armstrong should be pretty high up.

Didn't Witten break his jaw in a game against the Cardinals in his rookie season and miss the rest of the game...but the dude was in there the next week with his jaw wired shut.
That right there is enough for me.
Witten gets my vote.

Second that motion and his run without the helmet last year iced it for me....

Yeah, good one! Its hard to tell how tough he is behind the tears and hyperbaric chamber stuff.

But in all seriousness he is a freak of nature and plays thru as much serious injury as ANYONE.

I love Barber and he is indeed a tough runner and a tough guy.

But I gotta go with WITTEN. Playing with a broken jaw as a rookie; now that's tough. And the 40 yard gallop without his helmet seals the deal.

Toughest dude without a doubt is this man. That's why they never throw the flag for roughing, cause they know he's oh so tough.

C'mon Hos, one of the biggest things coaches will tell the players is to know when to give it up and not put your team in a worse situation. They are not suppose to give ground on the hopes of getting loose. The odds of being successful are just not there and if he keeps doing that he will more times than not put his team in more bad situations than good. Its also something that Barry Sanders did all the time which is why I think he's over-rated and its something Emmitt rarely did.

Overrated doesnt average 1500 yards a season for a career.
