Will Asomugha come available?

With news coming from a myriad of places now that the Raiders have agreed to send second- and sixth-round picks to Atlanta for DeAngelo Hall, another question will arise in Oakland: What to do with Nnamdi Asomugha?
The Hall trade is contigent on the discontented Falcon corner coming to terms on a long-term deal with the Raiders. The numbers are expected to be in the neighborhood of what Asante Samuel got (six years, $57 million) in Philadelphia. And that could make it difficult for the Raiders to hold on to Asomugha, who's been slapped with the exclusive franchise tag in Oakland.
For one thing, because it's the exclusive tag, Asomugha's price will continue to rise with each monster deal a corner signs, with the number inching closer to $10 million. Pro Football Talk speculated earlier today that this, plus the acquisition of Hall, could cause Oakland to repeal the tag on Asomugha.
Some believe that the money just won't be out there this late in the game for Asomugha. I disagree. Vehemently. Asomugha, in my mind, is the closest thing there is to Champ Bailey outside of Denver, was the clear No. 1 on the market before he got tagged (over Samuel and also-franchised Marcus Trufant), and is four months shy of his 27th birthday.
As is the case with Bailey, his ability to play all coverages and lock on to most receivers one-on-one without a coach thinking twice about it is what sets him apart from almost every other corner in the league. There's a reason he was only thrown at 31 times last year, a total that a scout told Pro Football Weekly was "less than any defender I've seen in the last 10 years."
That's why I think teams will line up to get this guy, if he becomes available. The Cowboys would have trouble getting involved, because of cap constraints. But this just might be a guy where you do what it takes.
