I'll tell you what has and is happening Kevin. It starts from camp. You and your teammates go through camp cupcake and camp marshmellow, still get injured. You guys play real games and you can't even tackle on 1st, 2nd or 3rd contact. You guys get knocked in your face and you don't know how to respond because you're shocked you had a physical interaction. You get off the field the few snaps you guys get from the rotation and still are broken down golf carts. You guys are a bunch of soft, injury prone primadonna's that are coached by a good cop coordinator that has no surety or answers. If I see you signed back onto this team next year I'll personally come down to your first camp and run down your throat you little push over. You guys are the softest team in the league and a simple fan like myself could swiss cheese you. You punks forgot where you came from with all these lights in your face. Nice and relaxed while we're out here breaking our behinds to pay those ridiculous ticket, concession, parking and merchandise costs. You want to take food out my mouth you rip off artists? Martin Grammatica has more physicality on that football field than you drips. That's what's happening mentally and physically. Keep eating your fillet mignon on the fans you soft puppy. I watch you guys and I could swear I know a few 40 year olds in construction that would knock you on your backside and they make a fraction you make. You know why? These guys have lifetime injuries from their trades but need to feed their families, still perform. They're hungry and they take pride in their work you miserable puke. If you guys don't win next Sunday I'm supporting the Rams the rest of the year until that locker room gets cleaned out. Jerry, 12 years without 1 playoff win. You should be ashamed of the organization you are running. You got your stadium, you have your ideal customer who pays your price. Don't forget the product Jerry. Your product is to win football games. Keep this up! Us fans aregoing to put you out of business. I'm no sell out, but I'm no fool either. You're taking you're customers/fans for a ride, a bad long ride that they don't deserve. Get a coach to force these players to respond! Period!

I'm also assuming that Burnett is under contract for doing this blog...if so, he has to write something...if not, he probably feels compelled to write something, but let's give the guy a break on this one. If you were a member of this team, what the heck is there to say?

He's probably angry and depressed and scared of where this could end up if something doesn't change fast...but if any of them actually knew what the answer was, it would be a miracle. As fans, we don't know what the answer is either.

The one thing we know for sure is that we want to see emotion on the sidelines and on the field. We want to see guys sacrificing everything they have and playing with fire...if they lose, it's not as painful when you see them giving it everything they have...however, we aren't seeing that, and that pisses me and most fans off more than the actual losing.

Dude im putting you on ignore. If youre not trying to troll all the time you sure do it naturally.

Coughlin went soft and they win the bowl. the year before that Dungy took it and hes a noted players coach. history shows your clueless.

This will bounce off with a very load thunk or just pass thru without hitting a thing. He's got lead or air up there. You can't shoot him in the head and kill him.

All this venting, is it helping the team any? No! Now is it helping you guys any?

This team will play however it will play, regardless of how you guys vent.

They don't need to know anything to vent. It's the same thing all the time by the same people. I'm trying to desensitize myself but it's not working. They're clueless and haven't even thought what will happen if anyone took them seriously and actually fired or cut someone. They don't want to hear you or this. We're in the way of their agendas. See I can vent too but I bet you're the only two of three people here who will read and get it.

The leadership on this team is awful. i am fine with Burnett on this one. Hes concerned and trying to get better.

Whats the problem here is that guys like James and Stewart are poor leaders and comments like this show it.

I agreed with you earlier but I don't think the leaders can do but so much here. Tackling. Don't try to do it all yourself. Rely on your teammates. Help in coverage. OL group together. But without some changes in strategy esp with Stewart and Garrett you aren't going to get 4 quarters for a dollar of effort.

I'm sorry but Coughlin did NOT go soft. He might have softened up a little, but he's still a hard ***.

I'm confused.

When Parcells was here, I was told his camps were too hard and that is why the team got tired at the end of the season.

Now I am being told the camp is too soft and that is why we aren't winning.

So what is better, hard or soft camps?

You need a middle ground. The world isn't black & white. It doesn't have to be one extreme or the other.

The team needs to have more physical practices (and having 1 would be more) in training camp AND during the regular season. You can work their ***** hard on Tuesday then coast them the rest of the week so they get their legs back by Sunday.

i understand what your saying and its like what Keith Daavis was saying the players need to be accountable to themselves. But when you see widespread sloppiness and the like it points to those higher up.

We need to see more things like TO getting in Gurodes face for poor sloppy play. When a guy misses a tackle it would be nice to see a guy step up and call him on it. Peer pressure is a wonderful motivating force and its almost like they don't care.
