With the number of questions I have gotten I'm trying to answer most of them. As you can see it's 4 in the morning and I'm on the Internet. I am going to attack this Intensity question and get to the rest tomorrow.
Having played this game since I was 4 years old I have noticed something. No matter what you do you can't cheat the game. If you try and cheat the game won't respect you. Intensity is a part of football although I do agree with MONEYSHOT. Football is a game of playmaking and you can be the most intense player ever to play the game but without other attributes your just another intense bench rider. Intensity is needed to play the game but you can win without it. Don't be lead to believe that we dont play without any intensity. If anything teams tell us we are one of the hardest hitting teams they face during the course of the year. So I don't believe we have an Intensity issue but I could blind because I'm on the team. I'm open for constructive words of wisdom from a fans perspective. What do you see?
I will to ask a 2 part question to you all. What are your feelings on intensity, does it matter, and what is it that the Cowboys need to get over the hump in 2008?
Here are a few more answers to your questions
I have always dreamed of playing football and from the first time I played people would tell me to keep working and you'll get to where you want to go. I have been working every since.
I have seven things that keep me humble
1. Right acl
2. Left acl
3. Bi-lateral sports hernia
4. Left anklebone chip removal
5. Right shoulder reconstruction
6. Right hip reconstruction
7. Left knee scope
I do enjoy OTA's (OTA's are non cantact anyway as per the NFL) without contact, it allows you to get back into the swing of the game without killing each other.
Guys if you interest I am having a Domino Tournament today the proceeds will go toward my foundation. I will be there until it's over. This is a 21 and over event, its $25 per team and $15 to watch. I'll be signing, T- shirts, pictures, posters, giving away tickets to the first home game so come out and have fun from 12- 5.
