where was felix jones and Bennett yesterday, i thought they were going to be a main focus. I still don't think they are getting Felix enough touches.

David Moore: As Derrick mentioned earlier in the chat, Bennett had a bigger impact than his one reception indicates because of the match-up issues he created. He did mis-fire with Romo on a potential touchdown. Bennett joked about that with Romo after the game, telling him if you have Shaquille O'Neal on the break, do you want to give him a bounce pass or a lob?

Jones had only six carries Sunday and failed to catch a pass. He was a bigger part of the Cowboys game plan, but he suffered a thigh bruise early in the game and it limited his effectiveness. Some of those third downs that put Tashard Choice on the field were designed for Jones.

That would explain why Choice got so many carries, and why Miles was back there on a KO return.

Surely if it's just a bruise he'll be fine.

Does anyone think there's anyone that played in the game that doesn't have a bruise on their thigh or some other body part? If he is going to return kicks and play a significant role in the offense, he'd better get over letting a bruise affect his play/time on the field.

I'm always amazed when people think football is a soft game. Where do they get that idea?

He did seem "off" to me, glad it was a bruise and not the negative effects from his foot injury.

Choice had 2 carries and 2 receptions. Felix had 6 carries.

I guess 2 = many.

I don't recall anyone ever saying that Felix and Martellus were going to be the main focus of the offense. They will be a part of the offense, but not the focus of it.

Romo had Martellus deep on the right side on one play, but looked to his left for an incompletion I believe. Romo had Felix underneath, but went to Roy on the sidelines for an incompletion. I am not mentioning this to harp on Romo. I am just illustrating that both guys are involved in the offense and there will be times that Romo sees them and gets the ball to them. One game does not make a trend.

They really want to establish Marion as the "closer", saving him in the beginning of games. Choice himself said as much.

So I'd expect to see Choice more in the first half than the second, unless there's a blowout in effect.
