A thigh bruise can be tough to overcome - especially a deep thigh bruise. Felix's college teammate Peyton Hillis had a deep thigh bruise that almost ruined his career -- took him almost two years to completely recover. Hope this one isn't deep.

Wade said in his presser that The Cat got hit in the thigh on a run and came out, but later went back.
Never heard him say thigh "bruise". If it was the dreaded thigh bruise he wouldn't have gone back in amirite?

Yourite, I think. If it had been a bad one, I doubt he would have gone back in at all.

Does anyone think there's anyone that played in the game that doesn't have a bruise on their thigh or some other body part? If he is going to return kicks and play a significant role in the offense, he'd better get over letting a bruise affect his play/time on the field.

Because I don't want to assume, have you ever played a sport? (contact sport)

That would explain why Choice got so many carries, and why Miles was back there on a KO return.

Surely if it's just a bruise he'll be fine.

Bruise? No, no, no, he is scheduled for amputation.

Thankfully it's nothing super serious. If it was nagging him a bit no biggy on holding his touches down against tampa in order to keep him ready for teams like the Giants. I'm ok with that.

Actually I played football for 3 years in high school and then played Rugby in college at Old Dominion University. I'm well aware that a bruise can be painfull. I got kicked in the head in a Rugby match and ran around for 20 minutes half dizzy before getting my bearings back. I made an arm tackle at the Cherry Blossom Tournament in DC that dislocated my shoulder and I played the rest of the match and another one later that day with my arm feeling like it was going to fall off.

If he's going to get a bruise on his leg and not be able to fulfill his gameplan duties, then I don't think he should be returning kickoffs because he's likely to get dinged up a little every game.

Better his thigh than his toe again, (after going through the Deion saga, I hated the sound of him having "toe stiffness"), but at some point you do begin to get concerned that he just hasn't been able to stay on the field long enough for us to use him to his full effectiveness.

Hopefully the trainers will be able to treat it and get him ready for Sunday.

At least we now know the rest of the story with Felix.

Hopefully he will be ready for the G-men.

I would like to apologise to Garrett for my criticisms yesterday about only getting Felix 6 touches.

This explains why.

I was wondering because i didn't see much of Felix as the game went on.

I was worried he got hurt. I hope this is really just a small injury and nothing major (who knows with the information hiding by our staff)...

I had a thigh bruise once that caused internal bleeding in my leg that drained into my knee. I missed a game and then had to have my knee drained because I couldn't bend it.

It may not sound like a big deal, but they can turn into one.

Cue the "injury prone" statements...

Do you really think it's far fetched?

I'm not saying he's injury prone. But it's not like he's an iron man out there.

We need him to stay healthy.

Oh cool! Can you run the wildcat for us then? That would be awesome. Wish you would have spoken sooner because Stanback let dislocations slow him down. You could have started. :bang2:
