I don't hold her to a different standard. Anyone who gets on social media and acts like an idiot...well, is an idiot. Goes for everybody.

I don't hold her to a different standard, either. She, her husband, her kid, they're public figures. Going after her family behind the anonymity of twitter makes a person a coward and an idiot. Replying to that attack in kind in defense of yours not the same thing as attacking anonymously.

She had every right to be pissed, and her only mistake was not realizing that the negative PR from her going off was going to spill onto the team and cause her husband to have to address the issue.

But more power to her for standing up for her family. Now, if she's going out anonymously under another account and doing the same thing to other public figures, she'd be an idiot for that in my book, too. But something tells me that's probably not very likely.

Nice example for the children

Sometimes, people get upset. I think it also can be an example of how you mess up then apologize and move on with life.
Sometimes, people need to know how to recover when they make mistakes rather than thinking they have to live perfect and having to feel their life is over because they've made a mistake.

Did Cole really say, "1 fumble in 3 years..." or am I reading that wrong? Cause there was one in the opener against NY, one last year against Philly, and I'm pretty sure at least one or two more that I am not recalling.

His wife hates guys like you.

Both.. But I have no problems with his wife defending her man. Potty mouth and all.

Agreed, her intentions were good, she wasn't throwing other players under the team bus like Gisele, just defending her husband from disproportionate attacks. Twitter just isn't the best place for people in situations like that.

Social media can be used for good and bad. She just got caught up in the bad part of social media. Sometimes you have to rise above the foolishness and treat the trolls like you're playing the fruit slash game. Slice and dice them from your cyberlife and move on.

This is why as a professional athlete I wouldn't have a Twitter account in the first place, even if I was a close relative. Not saying they're in the wrong for that because they're not. But I would imagine the player who doesn't have an account doesn't get the troll attack like someone who does. Just something to say if trolls like that really get to you, because as an athlete that's something you're going to deal with. Even if it's wrong.

Maybe he was matched up with Carr a lot in training camp. You know Carr has this way....oh never mind .
I think he will look like the bease we remember when 9 gets back

Honestly, if I were Garrett I would make all social media off-limits during the season. That's just me, though.

IRVING -- The Cowboys haven't had much success returning punts this season. Cole Beasley, the team's primary returner, is averaging only 4.1 yards on his eight returns. To make matters worse, he muffed a punt in the final minutes Sunday, preventing the Cowboys from having a chance to tie the score in a 27-20 loss to the Giants.

"I just misjudged it," Beasley said Tuesday on 105.3 The Fan's Ben and Skin show [KRLD-FM]. "It carried a lot farther than I was expecting it to, so I didn't get back far enough and didn't get to set my feet, so just a breakdown of fundamentals."

Following the game, Beasley's wife made headlines for the way she defended her husband on Twitter. She used several expletives in multiple responses that were quickly deleted, which can be found here.

"It's funny because she's always the one trying to keep me from saying stuff on there," Beasley said. "She sent me a text after the game apologizing. She knew she messed up. She told me, 'My body just got so hot.' I was like, 'Well, it happens sometimes.'

"I didn't get mad at her. I understand. It's hard. It's something we kind of need to stay away from, but it happens, so whatever."

Younger athletes spend way too much on social media. Then cry about it when they get bashed on there. The first thing beasley did was hope on social media after that game. I get it its this generations thing, thats why this generation cant find jobs because theyre too occupied with their cell phone welded to their hand. Romo, Witten, older athletes arent even on there, they have accounts and im sure its a personal assistant on there posting. If you live on social media ur going to get burned. And like i always say dont fight with fans you will never win.
