Valley Ranch is bustling today and not because the Cowboys are ready to make a coaching announcement. But the local television satellite trucks have filled up the parking lot and several reporters, like the infallible Steve Dennis of CBS 11 fame, are waiting.

And waiting. And waiting.

Just so Jerry Jones knows, I have a flight bound for Miami that leaves at 5:50 p.m. I would hope he would make a decision well before that so I know I will be on South Beach by the end of the night.

Don't be surprised if this search hits a delay through the weekend.

I doesn't look like today. It's getting kind of late. But, I still have to wonder why all the trucks are there, like they might know something.

Why all the hoopla. Jerry would schedule a PC if he were going to make the announcement today and the actual coach would be there too.

I mean that is the way he normally does it.
