someone just make sure to tell the team they have to play first, and winning would help.

How stupid.

We are closer to the bottom of our own division than the top of the league.

And if brady is healthy next year new england goes right back to being the best team in the league.

The steelers would not even have been playing yesterday had brady been healthy.

Well, now we know at least one thread MacMahon read when he logged in here today.

Bigger favorites than the Steelers. :laugh2:

Don't laugh. NE lost their QB for the season; Dalals lost theirs for a short period from which he had negative lingering effects. This directly impacted how these teeams faird in extending theruogh the playoffs. It can easily be argued that Pitt and AZ made it to the Super bowl in 2008 because dominos simply fell out of their way.

Here we go again.:laugh2:

Yeah, tell me about it.

What are the odds for "team most likely to embarrass themselves in December after playing well up to that point"?

I'm not too sure NE will be great another year older but you are probably right about the Stealers not being there if colts and Patriots are healthy all year.

I don't know about that... But I thought it was funny because it would send some people into a tizzy, not because I think we can't contend. I think we can and will as long we continue in the direction we've started this offseason. (Firing Read, cutting Pacman, no talking from coaches, big fine for Martellus, hiring Reeves, etc.)

With a couple of tweaks, I think we can have a defense pretty close to the Steelers. Have a decent draft and give the ball to our running backs more, and I think we can beat anyone.

We're a good team that caught some bad breaks and made some mistakes at key points in the season. A 9-7 season in 2008 means nothing in predicting success for 2009.

The Cowboys are the favorites?

Did they get a new head coach?
