Best of luck in your future endeavors!
I concur but, I hope he's back with the Cowboys because he's much more affordable than that "hot mess" Hardy.
Mincey would still be a nice mentor for the young DE's we have on the team.
With Jack Crawford backing up at 1-Tech and David Irving coming on at 3-tech, 1-tech and backing up DE, we just might be onto something.

As the article states, Mincey's elbow was hurt most of last year and now he's had surgery on it for the
second time. Obviously, that limited his range of motion and probably led to his less playing time
on the field. I think Crawford's Shoulder injury also limited him at 3-tech so it seems we might
have been the walking wounded towards the last quarter of the season. I'm not excusing the lack
of production and obvious "self-promotion" to land a gig somewhere In the league this year.
I just think for value, he brings more to the Cowboys than Hardy does. Hardy seems to be influencing
the young players in ways that Garrett does not appreciated at all.
Really? Because when you make it a point to bring up "elbow was hurt" and "less playing time", it sure looks like you are!
What "value" are you referring to? 0 sacks?
And in what "ways" is Hardy influencing the young players? Any reports of the young players misbehaving as a result of following Hardy's lead?
What kind of an example did Mincey's holdout prior to his 0 sack season set?
As a player, on the field and in the locker room, Hardy hasn't done anything that Mincey hasn't already done himself. Except Hardy wasn't released by his team for those mistakes like Mincey was.

All true in bold.
Jags, Gus Bradley did release Mincey because of constant tardiness. That's a fact.
Obviously, you dislike Mincey more than I and like Hardy more than I. Viewpoints are different and that's okay too.
Time to move on to more important things like the combine and the draft. If we draft a promising DE then, both of us
will be happy.
Have an awesome day!

I'll take the "hot mess" with 6 sacks and a track record as a top-notch pass rusher over the guy with 0 sacks. I find it funny that Hardy gets so much flack for being exactly the same person and player he's always been, going back to college. If the Cowboys thought the leopard would change his spots and he would suddenly become a model player, shame on them. And if being late to a meeting or two is a deal breaker and they want to open up a gaping hole for a pass rusher, shame on them again.
Is that based in his 0 sacks? Or just the fact that he's an old player? People should really look closer at Mincey's past history before they try to paint him as a model citizen or a mentor. If anything, he's simply a less-talented player with the same issues people are attacking Hardy for.
With Mincey, the only thing you'll have is a guy who talks about making plays but doesn't and a guy who can give you 0 sacks. Heck, sign me up! I can do that!
He did lead the team in sacks the year before when he actually got reps
Might have been a reason, he hasn't been a problem here so far as I've heard from the guys at
DC.com.
Yeah, with that same number 6 that people want to run Hardy out of town for. Despite the fact that Hardy did it in only 12 games.
And if it's in fact true, and not an excuse for no production, why did Mincey not "actually get reps"? But I think we know the answer to that question, don't we?
