Dwayne Harris said it’s too early to know whether or not he’ll be able to return Monday night against Chicago.

“We’ve just got to see how I feel,” said Harris, who missed the Oakland game and most of the game against the New York Giants with a pulled hamstring. “I can’t say I’m going to be able to go or I’m not going to be able to go. I’ve been running around and I’m feeling good. I’ll just see how I feel come game day.”

Harris ran full speed Thursday but that was off to the side. The team’s kick return specialist did not take part in practice and it’s unlikely he’ll do much Friday. He lists his status for the Bears game as questionable.

Harris ranks 2nd in the NFL in punt returns with an average of 14 yards and second in kickoff returns with an average of 31.3 yards.

“I don’t want to get out there against Chicago, pull my hammy again then be out for the rest of the season,” Harris said. “If I can go, I’ll go. If not, I’ll be back for Green Bay.

If he isn't sure by now for MNF, then I don't thin he'll play against the bears.

You are probably right.

It maybe more important against GB that he be back..

all I know is I can't remember having a kick returner at the top of the league..

Since Bob Hayes back in the 60s.

Yeah, it's been a while since we had a dynamic, PR/KR. Harris really flourished as a ST player this season and team really misses him. Hopefully he is fully healed for the packers game.

We need to stop letting any of our players hang out with Miles, his hammy-can't play disease is contagious...

IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne and wide receiver Dwayne Harris missed their second straight day of practice, which is more of a sign that neither will play Monday against the Chicago Bears.

On Thursday, Harris said he would be questionable to play but he has done some running in the last week.

Linebackers Sean Lee and Justin Durant went through their second straight full practices, with the Cowboys moving the session to Highland Park High School’s indoor facility because of the icy field conditions at Valley Ranch.
