I'm going to try to get there if I can sneak a few days off between our summer workouts and fall camp.

If you go, either join the Cowboys Fan Club ahead of time or pay the $20 to join there. They let you in early and you can get a spot on the fence. The fence is a few feet away from the players.

As much as its heaven to have Dallas in CA. I think that causes alot of their annoying little injuries. Dallas goes from fresh 70s to the dry heat of texas. Its a big change, and its not suprising there are always a rash of injuries in the following couple of weeks after they get back from oxnard.

I think it's opening in 2016. Can't wait since I live like 20 minutes away. Could go to every practice if I wanted :D

That's what I thought, too. Weird that they keep a two year option at Oxnard.

One of these days, I'm going to make my way to Oxnard.

You absolutely must go - the weather, the scenery is just incredible. There's a ton of Cowboy fans everywhere along with great accompanying things like former players doing autograph sessions and Q&A's in local hotels.

Yeah Chris is right. Get on the fence, you'll get a great appreciation for the speed and violence of the game and also get a lot of Jason Garrett close up and the way he conducts practice.

Also, as long as you're there, schedule your trip around the Chargers pre-season game and take the train (the same one the team does) down the Pacific Coast. Even if you don't take the train go to San Diego for the game, it will blow you away both from how beautiful it is and how many Cowboy fans are at the game. I know fans tend to exaggerate the numbers but It really is almost half Cowboy fans there.

Truly one of the best getaways you'll ever have. I love camp.

When their new facility in Frisco opens, doesn't mean they will hold TC there. They believe the idea of TC away from the area is more beneficial by getting away from all the home area distractions.
It will be their new HQ and practice facility used as Valley Ranch location is.

On the Oxnard deal, I don't like it there, as all the practice reports and such are off by 2 hours. Rather not wait to the early evening or later on to get reports or articles.
