I'm not privy to being familiar with his innermost thoughts any more than you are. I don't think it matters when he said what he did and see no reason to question his motives. If he said it's like a dream for him, that's something that someone of his stature normally might not say. I would think it's a sign that he's grounded, not phony.

Not being privy to being familiar to his innermost thoughts doesn't change the fact that I find it odd....which is MY inner most thoughts. However, to your point, if you are not familiar with his inner most thoughts how can you be so sure that it is a sign that he's grounded and not phony.....that statement alone is very contradictory to your original point.

Here's an idea -- perhaps you should try looking for the doughnut and not the hole!

Naahh, not to keen on that idea in this dialogue. I stated the thought that crossed my mind....I found it strange....you did not....so be it.

BTW, I do enjoy doughnut holes though :p

Yeah you're right he's the same in every movie. Talented as heck

I like Denzel. I should've clarified a little. In his early career he had some depth. Not so much later on. I think it was the roles he was accepting to some degree. I saw Denzel......not a character. JMO, of course.

I had no clue that Jerret was his son :(

I didn't know he was Denzels son either but when I was watching Baller's I kept thinking, damn this kid is a Denzel Washington starter kit. He has strong screen presence and jumps off the screen, imo.

Now it makes sense

I love Denzel. One of my all time favorites. Right there with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in my book. And he is still young. Pretty sure he will produce more master pieces down the road.

Too cool Denzel is a Boys fan. A star on the big screen rooting for the star period.

One of the better actors of our time. Been in quite a few good/great movies.
