Is he mobile like Rodgers?

From what I watched of him he's extremely mobile after play breaks down. I honestly thought he ran too much since the competition he played against was minimal and he could just take over games physically

He does run a lot. In 2014, he ran 138 times for 642 yards (16 games). In 2015, he carried the ball 63 times for 294 yards (7 games). Both years, averaged 4.7 per carry.

There are an increasing number of experts out there that are doubting Jerry Jones when he says the team has no plans to draft a quarterback at No. 4.
The most recent analyst is NFL Network draft expert Bucky Brooks, who says Carson Wentz would be a great fit in Dallas, learning behind Tony Romo. Here's what he had to say:

Wentz also would do well with the Dallas Cowboys and, should he last long enough, the Los Angeles Rams (who have the No. 15 overall pick), due to their strong rushing attacks and vertical-based passing games.

As a strong-armed passer capable of pushing the ball down the field on deep comebacks and over routes, Wentz could excel in an offense deeply rooted in play-action passing concepts.

Moreover, his ability to throw the deep ball would enhance the dynamic running games of each team and lead to more explosive plays. With the Cowboys providing Wentz with the opportunity to sit behind an established veteran in Tony Romo to learn the nuances of the game away from the spotlight, the North Dakota State standout could follow the blueprint that helped Aaron Rodgers and Philip Rivers become perennial Pro Bowlers at the position.

Other draft experts have agreed that the Cowboys would be wise to draft a quarterback at No. 4 overall, including NFL Network's Mike Mayock. Jerry Jones has been quoted recently saying the team has no plans to draft a quarterback at No. 4.

After his workout today, Cleveland will be all over him. I don't care about the RG3 signing. If Jerry wants him he has to move ahead of Cleveland.

Lynch could be the guy. Big strong armed guy, could have JJ having flashbacks of Aikman. Trade down, pick up a 2.

I still think Bosa is the pick.

Yeah the only think preventing Wentz in Cleveland is the fact that Cleveland may once again do something stupid.

Did you see the tweets last night after Lynch's workout with us? Supposedly it went really well and they're meeting again before the draft.

I had not. I don't see him falling to the 2nd. QB's are too valuable and too many teams need one a year or two from now. He will go 1st round.

I agree...if the Cowboys really like him as reported then they'll have to trade back into the 1st round most likely.

Or they could trade down slightly from #4, picking up the picks needed to get back into the 1st.

I hope not.

He just has Joe Flacco written all over him.

I want to be entertained and Paxton Lynch is going to be a very boring player to watch whenever he develops.

Didn't Gil Brandt just compare Wentz to Flacco?

The only reason anyone is making that kind of comparison is because of the small scool. Maybe they have the same height and a big arm.

Wentz is a playmaker at QB. He is closer to Cam or Andrew Luck then he is Flacco.

Never seen him play, so I can only go by what I read. If he's the real deal and they should know after spending a week, then they gotta go get him. QB's rule the league and Romo has 2 years left IMO.

I agree but the Cowboys will draft some foot soldier that doesn't make any difference whether or not we go 1-11 without our QB our 12-4 with him.

Jason Garrett needs the perfect team and just about the time it gets perfect free agency will blow it apart.
