Well, that happened.
Don't tell me, let me guess. The Liquor Store Guy told you?
Someone who works in the NFL officeDon't tell me, let me guess. The Liquor Store Guy told you?
Exactly and this is why I have so much disdain for GODdell complete utter bs.I don't understand why they let him come back for the two games if they were going to suspend him before the playoffs started. So now what, he'll be eligible for to play if we make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs next year? What exactly is a year long suspension? Is it by date? Or will it be the entire 2017 season including playoffs?
Remember this fellas. Look at all the other players who have to wait forever to hear something from there hearing. Funny how this is coming up so fast
And this is Gregory's fault, remember. And not the league's.

Yes.
Randy Gregory has a problem and hasn't got a handle on it yet.
However, that doesn't mean the NFL is handling his case appropriately.
Gregory is going to miss a minimum of one calendar year because of a missed drug test. He will not be allowed to have any contact with the team except to come in whenever a drug screening is ordered.
Randy will have to pass every test going forward while also following every other aspect of his treatment program if he hopes to be reinstated in the future.
All this for smoking weed.
I'm not happy with Gregory for being unable to kick the habit so far, but at least he's trying, and the punishment is overkill.
Meanwhile, Michael Floyd is free to play football with the New England Patriots after being found asleep at a traffic light with a blood alcohol level over .21
last month in Arizona.
No doubt, the league's escalating policy for marijuana violations is ridiculous. Like, embarrassingly so. That said, it's policy. If you want to play, you have to follow it.
Nothing new here. When was the last time a player outright won an appeal? Even a reduction in games at this point doesn't help us any.

Apples and oranges.Meanwhile, Michael Floyd is free to play football with the New England Patriots after being found asleep at a traffic light with a blood alcohol level over .21 last month in Arizona.
Outright? Not sure.
But LeVeon Bell had his sentence reduced earlier this year, committing the same infraction.
Wasn't expecting Gregory to win the appeal unless the story of him being in a legit rehab facility were true.
