I know everyone is going to say, "well it's Jerry". But the facts are Romo was restructured pushing more money into the future.

If the team believed Romo's back and therefore next couple to few years of playing were going to be extremely grey health wise, I think the organization would have opted to bite the bullet sooner or later on the majority of the contract.

Now Romo is apparently on the books for approx $25 million next season, with still virtually no room to dump him if need be next year. So with the team knowing that, I'm certain we're expecting him to be healthy after restructuring in such a way.

Odds for him or any QB to do that even with a decent team are slim, so you have a point.
And odds of any QB, period, doing it with this team in the last 2 years was zero.

2-3 years from now, if they keep rebuilding the trenches, whoever is QBing this team will have a much better chance.

I'm just trying to rule out clairvoyance. If the statement was based on personal evaluation of Romo's abilities, past performance, injuries, etc., it's cool. Opinions fuel personal proclamations all the time. Time always verifies the accuracy of proclamations in the end (even though the wording can be questionable). However, some people take the position of knowing the impossible. I was only seeking to discover if that was the case.
