This is good news. No reason to believe Witten isn't being straight with us, IMO. Tony is on his way back.

I know. You said that already. Who is it?

It doesn't matter. Any other QB would offer hope for the future. It could be Manziel, or several others. By the time the defense is fixed, Romo will be long gone. Even if he was around, he would choke when they needed him most. I give the guy every chance, but he simply don't have the clutch gene. It was stupid to resign him and history will prove that his contract was one of Jerry's worst.

Hear the crickets -- that's still the answer to -- if not Romo who?

I just haven't checked in for your response. Tebow carried a team closer to s Super Bowl than Romo. At least he wouldn't cost the team so much.

Thanks for the confirmation. The "Any other QB would offer hope for the future" opinion is oddly reminiscent of Jerry Jones' infamous 500 coaches declaration though.

I SK not a Manzirl fanboy, but I would love to see it happen just so I could watch the meltdown. Entertainment at it's finest.

Switzer proved Jerry was right.

That's an interesting take. So Dave Campo could have done the same thing in your opinion?

I see you want to change the situation to fit your agenda. You give a poor example so you want to keep changing it till you can prove a point that is impossible to prove. Good job.

And you (along with many more individuals) undervalued Switzer as a football coach. Jones has always been prone to exaggeration. He could not have gotten just anyone to coach that team and Switzer was an excellent choice.

Agenda? Please. Tell you what. List 500... scratch that... name 50 coaches who were available at that time you think could have coached that team to a Super Bowl victory. I doubt you can and will shortly explain why you chose not to.

I have never seen a player (witten) fluff another player (romo) more in my life. Just saying.

Are we playing 20 questions? You brought it up to prove a point and it backfired.

Its rather easily seen when a QB does not have the zip he once had. Don't need covered receivers or anything like that. Anyone with two eyes and familiar with his past ability can tell. We are not talking rocket science here.

Brad Johnson?

The quarterback/receiver friendship is a longstanding tradition. Having a guy like Witten have your back steadfastly is a hell of a thing.

You appear to have zero clue how stupid your post is. Any other QB??
