No he didn't. I'd like you to find where Witten made an assessment about Romo's progress last year. Romo didn't participate in the offseason until training camp.

Ijs..We all know Witten and Romo are friends, but the only person who commented on his progress last year was Jerry and that was to say Romo was running in the mountains.

I am 90% sure Witten was talking about how he looks, throwing the ball well, etc last year. I can't find it either but it was not in May or June. It was right before camp or in the first week of it.

I looked before I asked you to look, because I don't recall Witten saying anything before camp. During camp, probably. But not before.

Bottom line:
Romo is way ahead of where he was on May 1st last year.
I wouldn't read much into it than that, not is Witten asking anyone to.

It's nice to hear it but I want to see Romo playing and playing well before I breath too easily on this whole deal. I think it's foolish not to be a little concerned about your Franchise QB whose coming off of back surgery. I'd like to believe he's going to fully recover and be just fine but I want to see it before I start going around pretending like all is well with the QB.

That's good news if true. Though it doesn't change my expectations for 2014.

Or the rest of Romo's career, tbh.:(

the only reason that witten is getting worked is because he was being positive and supportive. Those same claiming he is lying are hoping for Romo to fail.

That should say all you need to know about a guy that has done less with more talent. Where should he be?

so let me ask you this, if romo were cut today, would another team pick him up or would he and tebow be playing madden on TV?

I just haven't checked in for your response. Tebow carried a team closer to s Super Bowl than Romo. At least he wouldn't cost the team so much.

So you are making the argument that Tebow is a better QB than Romo?

You realize out of 32 NFL teams that NOBODY has offered Tebow even a camp contract? If he is so good, why is the NFL avoiding him like the plague? We are talking about teams that have crap at QB not even sneezing in his direction and you are trying to argu that he is better than Romo?

Seriously dude, I would have picked some other QB to make my argument. You are going to get laughed out of this thread talking up freaking Tebow.................wow
